Effective 1 September 2012, as an interim measure all Departing Passengers will be subject to an Airport Development fee to be paid in cash ON DEPARTURE from all Zambian National Airports.
This fee is currently being discussed with the airlines to include in future ticket prices as a “TAX”, we will be advise as & when this becomes reality. Departure fee is as follows to be paid in ZAMBIAN KWACHA * (USD will not be accepted):-
International/Regional Flights – ZMK 56,000 (+/- USD 12.00)*
Domestic Flights – ZMK 28,000 (+/- USD 6.00)*
