Before the start of the 2012 Easter weekend, the HR Team assisted in delivering over 600 marshmallow Easter eggs, donated by Three Cities, and juice, kindly donated by Avonmore Spar, to the children and babies at the Edith Benson Babies’ and Childrens’ Home in Sherwood, Durban. Children are accommodated in six different cottages with 12 to14 children in each cottage. The home tries to make suitable arrangements for the children when they turn 18 as they then have to leave the home and are no longer eligible for child support grants.
